Detailed Description

This low-time, no damage history, straight tail '57 Cessna 182A has been owned by a Vietnam veteran USAF helicopter pilot (Distinguished Flying Cross recipient) and now retired United Airlines 747 captain for the past 42 years! The aircraft has always been hangared and has only lived in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, & Colorado its entire life. The majority of it's life has been right here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Only 2863 total time since new and 556 hours on the engine & prop. Kind radios, one-piece windshield, Cleveland brakes, engine oil filter, and dual Whelen strobe lights. The airframe is clean and the it has excellent logs & records that go all the way back to it's first test flight in Wichita, KS in 1956. For those that appreciate how well these older 182's fly, a low airframe time bird like this with no damage history is nearly impossible to find these days.
