The previous ownership bumped the ailerons against the T-Hangar vertical posts when he was putting the aircraft back in his hangar in 2009. Due to the hangar rash, he had the left and right ailerons reskinned.

In the past, the previous ownership forgot to remove the tow bar from the nose wheel of the aircraft after pulling the aircraft out of his hangar in 2007. During start up the propeller hit the tow bar; which is considered a propeller strike. The engine had a tear down inspection completed by Victor Aviation and a new propeller was installed to rectify the incident. The aircraft’s Hobbs was 135.5 at the time of the incident.

Piper SB 1161 was complied with on June 9, 2006 by the installation of the rib flange kits. This terminates the repetitive inspections. The typical cost to comply with SB 1161 is around $4,000.
