Detailed Description

Certification: 8130-3
Voltage: 28 V

Plug-in replacement:
 • Narco MK-12E ARC (Cessna) Replacement
 • TKM MX-385
 • ARC RT-485B

ARC's RT-385A is a solid-state TSO'd NAV/COMM transceiver. The RT-385A uses an electronic digital frequency display. If your aircraft has a 28 volt electrical system, this may be the least expensive way to add a NAV/COMM, especially one with an electronic LED display.

These radios are available with either a black or tan faceplate. The ARC (Cessna) RT-385A features:

   • 720 COMM channels
   • 200 NAV channels
   • 7 watts nominal transmission power

These are the most common indicators used in RT-385A installations:

    For VOR/LOC installations:

    • IN-385A VOR/LOC Indicator
    • IN-385AC VOR/LOC Indicator (with autocentering)

    For VOR/LOC/Glideslope installations:

    • IN-386A VOR/LOC/Glideslope Indicator & R-443B Glideslope Receiver
    • IN-386AC VOR/LOC/Glideslope Indicator (with autocentering) & R-443B Glideslope Receiver
