Jet Aero L-39C Albatros
The Aero L-39 Albatros is a jet aircraft trainer that was built to replace the L-29, the jet seats one student and one instructor. The maximum speed for the aircraft is Mach 0.80 (609 mph, 980 km/h). The empty weight is 7,617 lbs (3,455 kg) and the maximum takeoff weight is 10,362 lbs (4,700 kg). The L-39C was a standard basic trainer for Soviet Union, Czechoslovakia and export.
