Complete with red velvet seats, gold plated accents, and red plush carpet. Elvis's Jet has been privately owned for more than 35 years, becoming a tourist attraction where it sat on a runway in Roswell, New Mexico in the US.
The personalized jet is the only one of the three planes belonging to Elvis Presley, which is still privately owned, while the other two are owned by the Graceland estate in Memphis, Tennessee.With an original cockpit and no engines, the private jet has never been restored and is one of only 204 aircraft built between 1957 and 1978 in a collaboration between Jetstar and Lockheed, the former aerospace company which later became Lockheed Martin, currently one of the world's largest aerospace, defense, security and technology companies, following a merger with the Martin Marietta American manufacturer in 1995.
