Virtually Always Hangared Same Owner Since, 1982! Annual Good Thru, September 30, 2023 N6VU has been owned, operated, and hangered by the same owner since 1982. Heâs had very good maintenance performed as reflected in the complete and thorough logbooks. (Have in e-format). And believe it or not, thatâs the original interior you see in the photographs! An original interior does not lie as to how well an airplane has been kept inside and maintained. The super clear windshield and side windows tell a similar story. If youâre familiar with the Colemill Foxstar Conversion, youâll know that Bill Colbert of speed conversion fame hit a home run with this Baron 58 conversion. The TCM IO-550 engines were certified in a totally different manner than their IO-520 predecessors. And thus provide well in excess of the 300 advertised horsepower. Many Foxstar operators report cruise speeds well beyond 200 knots! Take a look at that superb avionics package! The Garmin GFC-600 autopilot alone is a modern aviation miracle! A Garmin GTN-750, the G-5âs and all the other goodies listed make for one pilot friendly cockpit! Those are TCM factory 0 time re-builds with only 143 hours each! Not some sketchy, spray can, field overhauls! The installation work is gorgeous! Do the Dâshannon cooling kits mean anything to you? The props were redone only 317 hours ago by the highly respected Sensenich Propeller Service! No staggered times and wild S/N spreads here! And the C&D and Associates combustion heater is such an improvement over the old Janitrol and Southwind systems. All in all, N6VU is a good, solid, value minded airplane with performance few other twins can touch!
