Detailed Description

I am motivated! Closing on my next plane mid-October!!

Rare Foxstar Baron 58! This airplane has been incredible to me with a 100% dispatch rate. Managing my trips with the Evolution 1500 Max with synthetic vision/radar/traffic, syncing ATC reroutes via Flightstream 210 and GNS530W directly into the KFC200 autopilot for a streamlined workload. Onboard radar and xm weather combine to help navigate through the incessant summer storms showing you the cells you're working through and the overall picture for situational awareness, and the JPI EDM 960 gives you all the engine information you could need. The IO-550s with approximately 450 hrs SMOH consistently cruises at about 200-205ktas between 7k-9k and about 34Gph. I'm a ROP guy, so you can definitely run LOP for better fuel economy, but even ROP at 2300RPM I see 195ktas and 28gph. The winglets boost the ramp appeal, low speed handling, and useful load. I've never climbed at a best rate book speed, but at max gross weight I consistently climb 1000+Fpm at a 150kts cruise climb. The factory air conditioning is cold, the heat is hot, and the Whelen LED landing and taxi lights are very bright. I'm happy to include my Sidewinder Towbar and all 6 headsets (lightspeed Zulu and sierra) if wanted. I've flown 240 hours in the 9 months since I purchased it. I have all original logs. Between the previous owner and me, it has always been kept in a hangar. It is an amazing airplane. I'm only selling because my personal and business missions have changed. I'm happy to answer any questions. I've seen some of the trash airplanes people are putting on the market, and I'm proud to say this one is anything but. Is it perfect? No, nothing ever is. But is it a sharp, consistent, reliable, great-performing airplane? Yes.

Damage History: Two owners ago, in 2017, taxied off the taxiway at night and collapsed the nose gear. It was inspected and repaired back then. The previous owner and I have had zero issues, clearly, with my 240 hours in 9 months.

Colemill Foxstar
IO-550C, 300HP per side

8/10 for both. Not perfect, but in great shape. Small standard imperfections in the maroon from flying through rain.
