Built by the Aero Design and Engineering Company in the late 1940s, the Aero Commander 500 is the first in a series of light-twin piston-engined aircraft. After the second model, the 520, the 560 was released. The Commander 560E is powered by two Lycoming GO-480-G1B6 engines of 295 hp.
