Lycoming O-320-H2AD Engine Information
A large family of 92 different normally-aspirated, air-cooled, four-cylinder, direct-drive engines; the Lycoming O-320 engine is commonly used on light aircraft like the Cessna 172 and Piper Cherokee. Different variants of the O-320 are rated for 150 or 160 hp. Other than the carbureted O-320, the series includes the fuel injected IO-320; the inverted mount, fuel injected AIO-320; and the aerobatic, fuel injected AEIO-320. The Lycoming O-320-H2AD produces 160 hp at 2700 rpm. The compression ratio is 9.00:1.
