For sale is a MT 5 blade composite propeller with factory logs, approximately 30 hours TT, like new condition.
We imported and used this propeller on a R&D project. The project was completed and the propeller is for sale. The original cost to import this was over 22K, if interested, just make much lower offer.
This propeller is made by MT, is experimental, but manufactured with their standard factory blades and hub. TBO is listed as 200 hours because it was for an experimental project, however the blades and constant speed hub are the same as their 1500-4000 hour products. It is 72 inches in diameter. It is compatible with McCauley or Hartzell or other prop governors. The hub adapter is common the with a continental IO-520's crankshaft flange. Also included is a new composite spinner.
The ideal aircraft for this would be a crop duster, aerobatic, or experimental plane, or STOL, with up to 350 horsepower. The recommended RPM range is between 1500 and 2200 RPM, never exceed is 2700 or 2850 RPM depending on power, it seems most efficient between 1400 and 2000 RPM. Very smooth in operation.
