Classic Champ but with 85hp engine instead of the original 65hp. This airplane is perfect for weekend flying, time building, or tailwheel training. Super easy airplane to fly, very enjoyable. The extra 20hp helps so much for short field operations which this plane is no stranger to.

The built in intercom does work, but the quality is not great. We have been using a auxilary intercom box which works great and is included with the plane.
Airframe
Very easy to control taildragger. Cruises up to 90-95mph indicated at full power (around 2300rpm). Brakes are heel brakes that are not bad but also not too good. Solo from the front seat only.

C-85 engine, electric push button starter
compression - #1 - 70/80, #2 - 75/80, #3 - 74/80, #4 - 71/80
burns around 5 gallons an hour depending on how you run it.
Interior / Exterior
7-8/10 on both interior and exterior. Fabric is in good shape.
Remarks
This plane does have wing mounted fuel tanks and a header tank, although only the header tank has been used recently. The wing tanks would likely need repair before use. The header tank has a 13 gallon fuel capacity which is about 3 hours, more than we have ever needed. I believe the wing tanks are 15 gallons capacity EACH, which brings the total fuel capacity to 43 gallons. Thats over 8 hours of flight time...
