Detailed Description

High Performance Aerobatic Aircraft, Lycoming IO-540. TTAF: 866.1, Powerplant TSMOH: 866.1. Propeller TSOH: 255.5 TSN: 643.6 (MTV-9-B-C/C200-15). Was Completed by Gerry Zimmerman 1993. Fantastic aircraft designed for higher alttitudes in Colorado with the bigger 540 engine.

Avionics / Equipment

Simple avionics that will provide the necessities. ADSB, Transponder, and all the required flight instrumentation.

Airframe

This is a one-of-a-kind aircraft with absolutely no damage history. Built in 1992 and derived from a long lineage of aircraft, this aircraft was molded and designed by the aerobatic world and its progression. The Fuselage was based off a Stephens Acro/Rebel 300 and was modified with a tail section from the early Edge Aircraft. The Canopy was built one off and added to the aircraft from a taller and sleek look. The cockpit is fitted with adjustable Rudder pedals to easily fit a 6'4 individual. The wings were built in response to the failure of the original designed wing. This wing is built with a 32012 Airfoil, made symmetrical and extended to deal with the higher altitudes of Colorado. It is constructed of Wood and a Carbon Fiber skin. They designed recommends a 6,000-hour life, which leaves a long and healthy life left. The manufacturer has deconstructed the highest time wings of the same design and reports great results with no issues or design flaws.

Engines / Mods / Prop

A high-performance engine to match the quality of the aircraft and its design. Everyone knows the reputation of this engine and the performance it continually delivers throughout the ages.

Interior / Exterior

Simple and clean interior.
7/10 High Quality paint that will provide no issues in the foreseeable future. No signs of wear and tear besides slight blemishes.

Remarks

An extremely clean aircraft. As far as performance characteristics are concerned, I will list what you can expect.
Insert Numbers here.
Handling characteristics resemble an Extra 330L. The pilots I've talked to that have flown both report better turning and handling, minus the higher roll rate of an Extra 330. The longer wing makes the aircraft strong in high-G loading scenarios and holds a turn great. It is said to have better turning than the modern edge 540, which is a great asset in the Advanced aerobatic world. The roll rate is what will hold you back from highly competitive Unlimited level aerobatics, but the aircraft can still get through a modern unlimited sequence if the pilot desires. It can and will win Advanced. Hand built and custom made everything, and while some people see that as a deficiency, it is an asset in this aircrafts design and build. All you have to do is see this aircraft in person to realize the excellence of it. While this aircraft is unique, it is unique in a good way. It will provide a winning Advanced aerobatic aircraft at a sixth of the cost of the new comparable aircraft on the market, and if you had one made today the cost would exceed $350,000.
