It was designed as a simple airplane and it's just that. It's a good looking, easy to fly, and reliable airplane that I can walk up to on any given day and know it'll be ready to fly. It runs great and flies regular. I've flown a little more than 50 hours in the last six months and will continue flying at around that rate until it sells. Basic Avionics. Probably the ones installed at manufacture. Not special but it works.
Airframe
Ceconite 101 Fabric in 2000.
Overall, the paint/fabric looks very good. There's light fading on top of the wings and a little on top of horizontal stabilizers. As far as I know it's always been hangared.
Engines / Mods / Prop
IO-320-E1A
Starts easy and runs silky smooth.
Prop was overhauled in 2020 and the AD is no longer applicable.
Interior / Exterior
Exterior looks very good. The interior is good except the headliner should be replaced. I had planned to do it when I bought the airplane but honestly it just never affected anything and was something that didn't get done.
