Single Engine Piston Avid Aircraft Information
The Avid Flyer series features single-engine, strut-braced, high-wing, two-seat, conventional landing gear ultralight home built aircraft. The Flyer can be fitted with either a Cayuna engine or a Rotax 532 engine. The Bandit is the economy model that uses a Rotax 503 engine and the heavier Magnum uses a Lycoming O-320 engine. The Mark IV is the fuller model with a curved edge rudder and foldable wings. The aircraft is powered by either a Rotax 582 or 912 engine and a three-bladed propeller.
