Avionics / Equipment
Narco stack. Works well. Stec 50 autopilot with altitude hold. Storm scope. Never used it.
Airframe
This plane is NOT a Debonair. It was built in 1967 for the 1968 model year, the first year of the "regular tail Bonanza." (Up until 1968, all Bonanza's had the "V" tail) The serial number trumps the registration year. This plane was then upgraded to a continental io-520 engine in 1981 following a gear up landing. It then became an E33A. A much faster and capable aircraft with the extra 60 hp.
Engines / Mods / Prop
Continental io-520, 285 hp. 2 cylinders and magnetos just overhauled. Crank and cam inspected and in great shape.
Interior / Exterior
Painted in 1989, the light grey and burgundy scheme looks amazing for its age. We get compliments on it all the time. This plane has been hangered 95% of its life. New seats and carpet installed in 2023.
Remarks
The 80 gallon fuel capacity allows for approximately 4-5 hours of flight time. The back seats are amazingly spacious and comfortable! This is a great cross country aircraft. Note: it does have a 1148 lbs useful load, however D'shannon makes a baffle kit in which if you pay the extra $3,000 they give you another 100 lbs useful load. So, I consider this plane to be more like 1248 lbs useful load (unofficially) Plane is flown weekly. Times will change accordingly.
