This F33A Bonanza has exceptional avionics and options. Paint and glass are excellent. This gorgeous plane shows pride of ownership in its exterior and maintenance. It has been always hangared with the current owner. The exterior, interior, glass and avionics show that it has been hangared most of its recent life. It is currently owned by a Marine Fighter Pilot whom recently retired as Director of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. The equipment list shows that no expense has been spared in equipping this aircraft. This a rare find.
Engines / Mods / Prop
A new TCM IO550 was installed in accordance with D'Shannon STC SA2200SW. The plane has been flown regularly and oil samples taken. After each flight the engine is attached to a dehumidifier which draws the acidic moisture out of the engine. Engine now has 954 hours since new, The prop has deice boots and 954 hours SMOH.
Interior / Exterior
A 3/8 inch single slope windshield installed in August 1999. August 1999 all the interior removed old insulation remove and replaced with Skandia sound damping foam. Orcon thermal insulation fitted between frame members. Plastic window moldings upholstered with Ultraleather. New wool carpet installed. ALL TAUPE LEATHER SEATS WITH REDESIGNED LUMBER SUPPORTS. Glare shield repaired and upholstered in leather. G & D Aero thermal pane inner window kit installed by STC. DUAL YOLK WITH TRIPLE STITCHED LEATHER CONTROL YOKES. Painted in Matterhorn white with Dark red and gold striped in Beechcraft design.
JULY 1 2018 ANNUAL IFR CERT WING SPAR INSPECTION JUST COMPLETED NO CRACKS RUDDER HAS SMC BRACKETS INSTALLED ELIMINATING FURTHER INSPECTION. EVERYTHING WORKS. PRIOR TO THE CURRENT OWNER, IN1990 LOGS DESCRIBE A PROP STRIKE INCIDENT. IN AUGUST 2005 RAYTHON AIRCRAFT SERVICES INSPECTED ENGINE COMPARTMENT KEEL BOX AND MADE ANT REPAIRS REQUIRED FOR CONFORMITY.
