This is a 1/4 share of this beautiful 1943 Stearman. Partnership is in Northern California, aircraft is currently Salinas/Hollister based. The partnership makes it incredibly affordable to fly a plane and have experiences I would never have considered otherwise.
Monthly dues (hangar, insurance, annual, taxes, + padding): $250/month per member
Flight time is currently billed at $125/hour wet (includes fuel, oil, and engine set aside).
In 20 years of flying this plane is by far the most fun I've ever had in aviation. From flying low over farm land or along the beach with friends, to making easy loops over the Monterey Bay, I get still get excited every time I see her. I love parking her on the ramp and watching people walk around her and take pictures.
There are 4 total partners, last year the plane flew about 75 hours. The aircraft was completely restored 5 years ago by Jack Thurman. It is equipped with the stock 9 cylinder Lycoming R-680 producing 225 HP.
This aircraft is meticulously maintained by Vintage Wings and Wheels in Hollister.

The aircraft is in an LLC, so there's no sales tax when transferring ownership stakes. The aircraft sale includes 25% of the existing reserve account.
