    Detailed Description

    1959 Cessna 175A Avcon O-360 Conversion w/New IFR Panel Installed 2001. Dual Nav/Coms, KLN89B GPS. Excellent Paint & Interior. 1735 TSMOH. 3997 TTAF.

    Avionics / Equipment

    KX170; KX155, KLN-89B GPS, Narco AT150 transponder; full IFR Panel.  Extensive panel sheetmetal work, all new wiring installed in 2002.  Also included all new or rebuilt flight instruments in 2002, along within-light bezel lighting system for each instrument.  Two-place intercom also installed.

    Airframe

    1971 - The aircraft was, to our understanding ((not documented) damaged by being blown over in a windstorm.  Extensive skin work done on parts of fuselage, tail and wings.  Well documented in 1971 and 1972 with a 337's and logbook entries.  Flies straight and true ever since.  No other damage history.
    Last annual in December 2017.

    Engines / Mods / Prop

    Lycoming O-360.  Installed as part of an Avcon conversion in 1972, along with a constant speed prop.  Prop was replaced with new one in 2008.

    Interior / Exterior

    Headliner like new.  New interior plastic and paint redone.  New airtex carpet in 2008, upholstery looks very good; Oregon Aero seat cushions for comfort on front seats.

    Remarks

    Aircraft spent most of its life away from coast.  Has been based in Chatham, Mass for the past 12 years - always hangared since Prestige (Vermont) paint job in 2004.
