Detailed Description

High performance, Complex, Technically Advanced Aircraft!

Will not respond to "Still Available?" spam messages - If the ad is up, it is still for sale. If you have specific questions or would like a link to the logs, please let me know. No secrets. The complete logs tell the story of the airplane and I'll tell you what I love, like and wish could be better about it.

Just changed the tail number! Used to be tongue-twister 'N6990Y', but now it is an easier-to-recite 'N210D'.

VERY well maintained 1964 Cessna Centurion with a clean, updated interior, four-point Hooker Harnesses, Aspen and Garmin avionics coupled to an S-TEC 3100 2-axis autopilot with electric trim! More than just a solid Centurion, the avionics in this airplane makes it a cross-country champion. Flights are easier, less stressful and you can stay ahead of the airplane - especially when ATC is vectoring you around.

No corrosion. Always hangared (to my knowledge) until recently when the hangar was sold out from under me. Carson City is in a high desert, so no humidity or salt air here. Unfortunately, there is density altitude...

285HP Fuel Injected 6-Cylinder Continental (IO-520-A)
TAA (Technically Advanced Aircraft)
AFTT 5,515
Prop 120 SNEW
Engine 1,342 SFRM
Useful Load 1,100 lbs.
80 gallon tanks (40 each side)

Annual is due by end of November, so we can work out an agreement splitting the pre-buy inspection costs and turning it into an annual inspection and I'll take care of all AW issues discovered (if any).

Also a very affordable cross country cruiser. I typically lean it out, roll back the prop and fly ~135 knots TAS at ~9.5 gallons/hour between 10,000 and 12,000 feet. See the close-up photo of the JPI screen and flight instruments during a flight I made to Tucson, Arizona and Carson City, Nevada in August 2026. During that non-stop 5-hour flight I still had over 1.5 hours of cruise fuel remaining.

This well cared for 210 has extensive upgrades and meticulous maintenance records all the way back to the beginning.

Additional photos, PDFs links for all maintenance logs and recent oil analysis reports available to serious buyers.

Will come with at least two bins of extras such as an engine cowling heater for the winter, extra gaskets (just in case!), oil, Cam Guard additive, oil filters, pre-paid Blackstone oil analysis kits, laser altitude alerter (not installed yet), new front tire and tube (current one is still in good shape), etc., etc., etc...

My Garmin Avionics subscription is good through February 2027. I will mail an SD card to the new owner for each update cycle so we don't have to pay Garmin any more than necessary for the maps and plates.

Flies regularly.

Open to carrying the note, ONLY for a confirmed Nevada resident, with verified very good to excellent credit, $60K down and an 8% fully amortizing loan for the remainder.

FAA Gold Seal CFII owned, therefore formal and loggable transition and familiarization training flight will be provided for free after purchase (helps with your insurance!).

Everyone always asks, "If this airplane is so great, why are you selling it?" Simply put, we have to stay close to home and attend to an elderly family member, so we can't get away and fly like we used to.
