Detailed Description
N246AP combines the utility and carrying capability of the turbocharged Stationair with a modern Garmin G1000 NXi flight deck. Avionics include Synthetic Vision, SafeTaxi, FliteCharts, dual Garmin GIA 63W NAV/COM/GPS/WAAS units, GFC 700 autopilot, GTX 345R transponder, GTS 800 traffic advisory system, GMA 1360 digital audio panel, and Flight Stream 510 cockpit connectivity.
Powered by a 310-horsepower Lycoming TIO-540-AJ1A and equipped with a three-blade McCauley propeller, the aircraft has 1,269.4 hours on the airframe, engine, and propeller.
The six-place factory interior is complemented by air conditioning, built-in oxygen, tinted pilot and copilot windows, and aft baggage space. An Aeroset cargo pod accompanies the aircraft and is not currently installed. Additional equipment includes an Airwolf air/oil separator, LoPresti Boom Beam LED landing and taxi light, yoke-mounted go-around and control wheel steering switches, electric trim, and ceramic paint protection.
N246AP has been hangar kept, has no known damage history, and is represented with complete logbooks.
