Detailed Description
Completely renovated 1958 Champion 7FC converted to 7EC. 90 hp Continental C90-12F. Completely taken down to bare frame with sandblasting and epoxy primer. Recovered and painted to original factory paint scheme and colors. Engine has undergone major overhaul with four new cylinders; 2 hrs since overhaul. Interior completely redone with metal side panes, new headliner, seats covered in leather with new FAA approved foam cushions. All windows replaced. Front spar replaced with spar from Safe Air Repair. new Scott tail wheel. All new control cables. Original disk breaks removed and stored; replaced with disk breaks. New battery. 720 COM with 4096 transponder and tail mounted ADS-B. Three position lights with wingtip strobes. Landing lights replaced. Large inspection plates added for ease of spar inspection. Very thorough annual inspection completed in May, 2022. All paint chips and defects repaired at that time. Included are two original metal wheel pants, spare lift struts, unpainted auxiliary rudders for floatplane configuration, maintenance manuals, Tail Dragger tow hook and nose bowl. All log books dating back to the delivery of the aircraft in 1958 by Champion Aircraft.
