âī¸ Own & Fly a Cirrus SR22 - for a Fraction of the Cost We have an awesome opportunity for you to own and fly modern, Perspective-equipped Cirrus SR22 aircraft - at an affordable buy-in and ongoing expense. We're starting with two Perspective-equipped, air-conditioned Cirrus SR22s based at KSGR (Sugar Land Regional Airport). ________________________________________ đŠī¸ Initial Fleet Aircraft 1: N424PB âĸ 2015 SR22 G5 with Hot Weather Package (A/C & Clean Wing) âĸ 1,239 lb useful load Aircraft 2: N281CP âĸ 2008 Perspective-equipped SR22 G3 âĸ Inadvertent Ice Protection & A/C ________________________________________ đ° Ownership Details Equity Buy-In: $75,000 per membership - funds aircraft purchase & initial reserve Monthly Fee (Fixed Cost): $290 Hourly Dry Rate: $130 There will be 8 slots per airplane, and each member will have access to both aircraft. Nearly half of these are already filled with current owners and users. With 5 pilots flying the G5 over the last several years, we've maintained excellent availability. With two planes, we can add more pilots while keeping that same level of access. In the past, I was a member of the Chandelle Flying Club in Austin (3 aircraft, 28 members) - and you could almost always book a plane for a weekend on a Friday. We aim for that same flexibility here in Houston. ________________________________________ đ Club Highlights â True equity ownership - not a rental or fractional program â Online scheduling app (book up to 14 days at a time, including 1 national holiday) â Overnight use permitted (1 flight hr per night minimum) â No management fees - members elect officers & maintenance leads â Planned expansion: SR22T with FIKI ________________________________________ đŦ FAQs Q: Will you consider me without an IFR A: Yes, but you will have a higher monthly fee reflecting the cost of insurance Q: Can I take the plane overnight? A: Yes, but you must use the plane at least 1 hr for each night the plane is away. Fly 4 hours each way to Santa Fe, you can keep it for 8 nights. Fly to Austin, you can keep it for 2 days. Q: How does scheduling work? A: Online App - you can have up to 14 days at a time scheduled for the next year, including up to 1 national holiday. Q: How is the club managed? A: Membership will vote for club officers who will act as the board of directors, including maintenance officers who will not be compensated. There will not be management fees. Q: How do I buy in? A: We will use an escrow company to hold a $5,000.00 deposit with the balance due by December 15, 2025. You will need to meet with the current owners to review your experience and fit. The aircraft will be debt-free at closing. Q: Will the club designate an instructor? A: No, but any instructor must be reviewed by the board. You are responsible to provide the aircraft and pay your instructor. ________________________________________ If you have more questions, please use the comments below - others may have the same ones.
