Single Engine Piston Cirrus SR22 Series
A single-engine, four-seat, composite aircraft, the Cirrus SR22, was built by Cirrus Aircraft starting in 2001. The capacity of the SR22 is for one crew member and three passengers. Cruise speed is 185 knots (213 mph, 343 km/h) and stall speed is 60 knots (69 mph, 110 km/h). The empty weight is 2225 lb (1009 kg) and the gross weight is 3400 lb (1542 kg). The SR22 is a modified more powerful version of the Cirrus SR20. The SR22 has a larger wing, higher fuel capacity, and a 310 hp engine.
