Designed and built by Rockwell International in the 1970s, the Rockwell Commander 112 is an American four seat cabin, single piston-engine monoplane. The 112 has the capacity for one crew member and three passengers. The Commander 112TCA is powered by a Lycoming TO-360-C1A6D engine. The empty weight is 2,035 lbs and the gross weight is 2,950 lbs. The cruise speed is 162 kts, the stall speed is 54 kts, and the range is 665 miles. The 112TCA later became the Alpine Commander.
