    Detailed Description

    Year: 2010
    Manufacturer: CUBCRAFTERS
    Model: Carbon Cub SS
    Registration: N367WC
Description: This low time Carbon Cub (Experimental Light Sport) airplane has only 495 hours since new. An extensive Condition Inspection was just completed in June, 2024, which included new motor mounts, installation of Garmin GPS 20A, upgraded the Garmin GTX 330 transponder to ES (extended squitter), ADSB Out 1090 compliant, a fresh ATC Transponder and encoder certification per FAR 91.413, and new fuel level sight gauges in the wing root. A new main battery was installed as well as an auxiliary battery as a backup in case of main battery failure.
In addition to Receiving ADS B In traffic and weather via a Garmin GDL39, the plane also has a Garmin GTX 800 active TAS (traffic alert system) which will provide traffic alerts on the ground and in flight when there is no ADSB coverage for added collision avoidance and safety. For advance warning of stall conditions there is a Safe Flight SDC-X Speed Control Angle of Attack system installed with a visual indicator and audio warning when approaching a stall mounted above the panel in the pilot's field of view.

Additionally, there is Visual Collision Avoidance System (smoke system) that allows the pilot to activate the smoke system on the stick grip to increase visual acquisition by other pilots when necessary.
The plane comes with two props. A black Catto 80x50 composite prop with a nickel leading edge with only 55 hours TTSNEW and a Catto silver 78x55 .
The panel is highlighted by two Garmin G3X PFD and MFD displays (non -touch).

There is a Vertical Power VP-X electronic circuit breaker (ECB) system to manage and display electrical loads on all components. The health of the aircraft's electrical system is displayed on the EFIS so the pilot can view and control the status of individual circuits and respond to circuit faults.
To expand the radio communications options there are two radio transceivers, a Garmin SL40 and a Becker transceiver controlled by a PS Engineering PMA4000 radio controller.

The landing gear was upgraded to the 3 X 3 extended gear with the AOSS suspension system.
In 2011 the right wing suffered minor damage in a landing. The entire wing was removed and shipped to Cubcrafters. The fabric was removed , the wing repaired and reassembled in the Cubcrafters wing jig setting alignment and washout. New flap and aileron were installed . The wing was recovered with Stits fabric and painted per original. It now flies straight and true better than before.

In 2015 a Garmin GMC 305 Autopilot System was installed. This two-axis autopilot has HDG, NAV, APR, FD, IAS, ALT, VS, VNV and a UP/DOWN TRIM wheel. Another safety feature built into the autopilot system architecture is the LVL button to recover from an unusual attitude or assist the pilot during unintentional entry into IMC.
The Engine Information System (EIS) displays on the MFD when selected and shows the pilot all the engine parameters on one screen: Manifold, RPM, Oil pressure and temperature, CHT and EGT, Carb Temperature, Fuel Burn, Fuel remaining and Main and Backup battery voltage.

The G3X MFD has dedicated pages for Map, Waypoint, Weather, Terrain, Traffic, XM, VPX, Info, and Engine.

The aircraft has spent its life in a hangar at L70 Agua Dulce Airport in a desert climate except for a few flying trips.

The Titan 340 engine producing 180 H.P. produces incredible performance particularly noticeable in the climb. It cruises at 90-100 MPH .
