For Sale is a 2015 Mackey SQ-4. Expertly built with a ton of high end equipment and great features. If you aren't familiar with the SQ-4, it's basically the ultimate evolution of the Super Cub. Slats, VG's, all the STOL tricks, huge doors, and 4 seats!
It's hard to describe how much easier to get into, and how much more comfortable once inside, this is than a regular Cub. And for your flying buddy or significant other, no more looking at the back of your head. Plus a huge baggage area. Visibility is excellent. And the performance....stunning!
Workmanship on this plane is excellent. Has less than 300 hrs on it since new (times are changing as owner continues to fly it.) Titan IO-370 fuel injected engine gives an easy 195hp. Garmin glass panel and an autopilot. Huge 31" bushwheels and AOSS suspension for backcountry heroism, or swap it onto it's Clamar 2500 amphibious floats and for fun on the water!
It's currently in my hanger to have the floats swapped over, and whenever someone walks in their jaw drops. However, for all the things this plane is, one thing it isn't is fast. The owner loves this plane...it's his baby....but his needs have changed and he is reluctantly selling it to buy a go fast/go places airplane.
If you want to get into the STOL/Backcountry/Float world but have been sitting on the sidelines, this is the no compromises and no excuses plane for you! Compare this to a Carbon Cub, and...well, there is no comparison.
