This is the 1st production line Extra 330SX. The prototype is SN001. Several aircraft were started in parallel. This is the 1st one delivered off the line so that it was ready for the 2024 airshow season. Paint is immaculate 3 color (blue, yellow, silver). Custom design vinyl wrap can be removed and redesigned for your custom scheme. Ceramic coated. Auxilliary oil drain access panel simplifies oil changes. The SX is certified in Europe, but was converted to Experimental Exhibition when registered with the FAA.
Engines / Mods / Prop
Left mag was a Slick retard breaker mag and used the Slick Start system. It has been replaced with a SureFly electronic ignition. The Slick Start system is still installed but not used. Can be reverted to the Slick mag if desired. Hartzell Talon propeller was new and operated on my 330LX, but was moved to this SX when the SX was delivered.
Interior / Exterior
Carbon fiber laminate panel. Black fuselage and seat. Yellow canopy. Leather baggage compartment cover. Custom sight gage and canopy covers.
Remarks
This airplane is virtually brand new, flown 200 hours over two seasons. Pristene condition. Buy now and avoid the wait for a new factory airplane. This airplane has a one of a kind auxiliary smoke oil tank bringing it to 9.7 gallons total, up from the factory standard of 5.
