A true classic, flying and ready to enjoy. This 1946 Globe Swift GC-1B, serial 1494, has a Continental O-300-D with 369 hours since major overhaul and 3,278 hours total time. It had a fresh annual in May 2026 and a transponder and pitot-static check in April 2026. The gear actuator and flap actuator were recently rebuilt, and the emergency crank handle bushings were replaced. It's flown regularly.
The airframe is equipped with P-51 style gear doors, and the cockpit has been re-equipped with Cessna 150 seats. The logs are complete. It wears a silver fuselage with a blue-and-white checkerboard and red accents, and it draws a crowd on every ramp.
Avionics include a King KY97 com, Garmin aera 500 GPS, King KT76A transponder complemented by a uAvionix tail beacon, a Sigtronics SPA-400 intercom, and a new Aerospace Logic OPT200FK digital engine instrument.
