This DGA 15P GH 3 is a historical beaut! Presenting in a bright lemon with insignia blue trim, it won 2006 Oshkosh, Wisconsin Grand Champion. Always hanger stored, it is in tip top shape then and now. Definite show stopper and impression maker that was built in 1944 for the US Navy in Chicago, Illinois Totally rebuilt 2006 (6 years and 7000 man hours to complete) Complete written and pictorial history of rebuild. Only the best for this gem ensuring its condition, it has always been hangered and movement managed by the tug, which comes with plane at sale. The air frame has been restored with all new wood along with fabric covered wings, flaps, ailerons and cabin. It has all new metal skins. Tail #727 ST It doesn't disappoint with its Pratt and Whitney engine R985AN 450HP engine. It is not an overhaul or a run out. It's brand new, built by Younkin Engine. 450 Pratt Whitney Engine has a total aircraft time since rebuild of 686 hours engine. The prop was rebuilt by NorthWest Prop Company in Olympia, Washington. The avionics are on point and ready to be put to work. It has GNS 430 Nav Com, GI 106A Nav Indicator, GTX 320A Transponder, SAE 5-35 GAE 43 Altitude Encoder, C1 507 G5 Coupler, PMA 6000 MC Audio Selector and Intercom System. Along with all that, it has five jack panels, one jack plug for portable communications antenna and one jack plug for portable CD. New tires in 2021, landing lights rebuilt 2020, new batteries 2021- All just in time for YOU to hit the run way for take off! Last inspection 2021
