This beautifully crafted Hummel H5 Experimental / Amateur-Built aircraft has exceptional attention to detail. With only 21 hours total time since new on the airframe, engine, and propeller, this H5 presents an outstanding opportunity to own a nearly new aircraft without the wait of a new build.
Powered by a 2024 Scott Casler-Hummel 2400cc, 85 HP engine, this aircraft is equipped with dual ignition (1 magneto/1 electronic ignition), carburetor heat, cabin heat, oil coolers, upgraded straight chrome exhaust pipes, and an EarthX battery. A Prince 54x52 E-Tip carbon fiber propeller completes the powerplant package, also with only 21 hours total time.
The panel is thoughtfully equipped with modern avionics including a Garmin G5 EFIS, Garmin GPSMAP 660, Garmin GTR 200 Comm Radio, Garmin GMU 11, and a JPI EDM-350 engine monitoring system displaying RPM, oil temperature and pressure, amperage, voltage, EGT, and CHT.
Built for comfort and functionality, the aircraft features Microburst III navigation and strobe lights, a Black Max dual-lever hand-operated master cylinder with single-stick-mounted independent hand brakes, push-button start, dual USB charging ports, aircraft headset jack, custom wood grip control stick with push-to-talk button, SteinAir eyeball fresh air vents with NACA venting, removable baggage compartment, and a secure 4-point shoulder harness.
The fuel system consists of a 9-gallon main tank with 12 gallons of auxiliary fuel (6 gallons per wing) and an R&D multiple set-point fuel probe system.
The interior is finished with Roxatone gray interior paint, black wool seating, and a clean, functional layout. The exterior showcases a premium Sherwin-Williams AcryGlo paint system featuring a custom design by Scheme Designers in Honeysuckle, Snow White, and black accent striping, giving the aircraft a distinctive, professional appearance.
