This Pietenpol features a 100-horsepower, six-cylinder Williams Corvair engine and is known for its docile handling-you have to force it to stall at 35mph. Even then it really doesn't stall, it just sinks with the huge wing. As a STOL aircraft, it performs well in short takeoffs and landings. Built with great attention to detail, it includes a handy storage compartment on the top of the wing center section. The Pietenpol's classic design, ease of maintenance, and proven reliability make it a favorite among vintage aviation enthusiasts.
