Excellent condition 1962 Mooney M20C, Mark 21 with low air frame and engine times. Needs nothing!
Avionics / Equipment
Apollo GX 55 GPS, Dual Nav/Coms, Narco AT 150 TSO, JPI EDM 700, SkyBeacon ADSB, 4 place intercom. Mooney factory auto pilot. GPS works but maps are out of date.
Lower time air frame in very nice condition. APIA owned and maintained since 1967. Last Annual Inspection 3/1/2020 with no issues. All ADs compliant. Paint shows well with nice three color combo. Solid 170 MPH at 70% (23 squared) and 9.5 GPH. Trims very well. Speed mods include vortex generators, one-piece belly pan, gap seals, cowling mod, one-piece window, fiberglass tail piece. A pleasure to fly. No hail damage or corrosion. Prop hub, fuel bladder and alternator conversion. No rivet issues. Always Hangared. Manual Gear with Johnson bar avoids gear up landing! Mooney factory auto pilot. No disappointments.
Engines / Mods / Prop
Engine: O-360-A1D Lycoming 180 HP. 218 engine time SMOH in 2010 by AP mechanic owner. Flown monthly (approximately 25 hours per year since new engine). New carb and prop at rebuild. New prop hub mod eliminates recurring inspection and fuel bladders eliminate leaky wing tanks. Alternator STC. Great compressions at 1: 75, 2: 76, 3: 75 and 4: 74. Engine looks new and no leaks. Last annual 3/1/2020. All ADs current.
Interior / Exterior
Overall condition 8/10 inside and out. No hail damage or corrosion. Good interior and paint. Seats in great condition. No issues. Small tear in headliner in cargo area. Minor damage history. All logs since new and paperwork on all work performed, STC and ADs. Also have Mooney parts catalog and some spare parts.
Great sporty, fun and fast airplane. Needs nothing but more time in the air. Great local flight or cross country aircraft. Good retractable time builder. A pleasure to fly.
