Restored from the ground up. A fully loaded 1966 Mooney M20E Super 21 with Garmin G500+GTN750 glass cockpit modern avionics and new leather interior. Looks like a brand new airplane. S-TEC autopilot, JPI Engine monitor, and complete LED lighting package. Modified LASAR wing tip STC, Speed Brakes, Monroy extended range fuel tanks. New interior and exterior completed in 2013.
Avionics / Equipment
Garmin G500 EFIS equipped instrument panel paired with a Garmin GTN750 GPS/NAV/COM and GMA35 remote audio panel. The instrument panel includes plugs for traditional headsets as well as modern 6-pin plugs for noise cancelling and power. JPI EDM-930 Engine Monitor, STEC Fifty Five X Auto Pilot with altitude preselect and GPSS steering. All new CNC instrument panel and etching along with new circuit breakers all installed 2011.
Latest annual July 2018. All AD's complied with up to this date. Rebuilt landing gear with all new hardware, shock discs, and pained 2011. Fuel tanks resealed in 2013. All control linkages removed, rebushed and new universal joints installed. Complied with Mooney rear spar, Mooney Service Bulletin M20-217 rear spar doubler installed.
2013 Complete interior remodel to include leather seats, new wool carpet, armrests, new side panels, center pedestal, Rosen Visors STC, center bench cup holder, custom wooden flap handle, seatbelt and cargo tie down, and variable intensity LED overhead lighting by Aveo. Custom leather ceiling trimmed in heavy stitching. Exterior painted in 2013. Base: Slate Grey Pearl with Red Pearl, Cumulus Pearl, and Black Red Pearl accents.
This aircraft was restored from the ground up and is an excellent example of a M20 Mooney Super 21 that is immaculately clean.
