Detailed Description

1977 Mooney M20J 201, N201JP is up for sale. 3060 ACTT, 104 SMOH.  New instrument panel with the following upgrades: GTN-750, GTX-345 ADS-B IN/OUT, GMA-35 AUDIO PANEL REMOTE, GI-106B, GNC-255A.  Basic auto pilot with heading bug and wing leveler.  AP is not coupled to the GPS.  All other gauges and instruments were inspected and reinstalled.  Everything works on the aircraft as it should.  Aircraft is IFR capable, has not been certified since no one that flies it is IFR rated.  Reason for selling is the aircraft does not fit our mission profile.

Airframe

Airframe has had damage history, but not the typical belly landing.  The aircraft was damaged when it landed at an airfield and veered off the runway due to the left main gear collapsing.  Google N201JP and it will come up with the report.  In the process of recovering the aircraft the aircraft was damaged when it hit a road sign.  Both wing tips from the ailerons out, and the tail section have been replaced by factory parts in 2005.  There is a sign off in the logbooks from the FAA regarding the repairs done.

Engines / Mods / Prop

The original IO-360-A3B6D was converted at overhaul, to the IO-360-A3B6 engine.  This removed the "dual mag" magneto and all parts that are specific to it.  The parts were replaced or converted to the normal two slick magneto set up with brand new slick magnetos.
