Remarks
The Mooney was used by the current owner since the early 2000's to fly between Maryland and Toronto on business trips. In 2011 there was a prop AD that came out and the plane sat in the AP shop for a few years before a pipe burst and the shop was emptied so that the plane wouldn't be flooded. The plane then sat out for a few more years before we started the restoration project. We replaced the tubes, tires, brakes, and rotors. We swung the gear, checked the fuel tanks, replaced the prop, checked compressions, inspected the cam-shaft, and replaced the fuel caps. When we were about to ferry the plane the AP on field retired and that put a stop to any progress. It's been a year since that point and the owner decided he would rather be rid of the aircraft.
