Excellent Original throughout. The fabric seats were in excellent condition however the seats have been recently recovered in deluxe leather for purely for personal cosmetic reasons. Rated 9.8 out of 10.

Factory Original in fantastic condition. Cream upper and metallic gray lower with silver/grey accent and maroon pinstripe. Overall excellent. Rated 9.8 out of 10.

Arizona history. Currently at Placerville Airport. Complete logs. No damage History. No hail. No Corrosion.   This is the second 1998 Encore built and I think there are only 37 of them in existence.  The 1998's have 2000 TBO's on their 225 HP Turbocharged Continental engines.  This is the very desirable TSIO-360-SB and not the probelmetic TSIO-360-GB that was in the early M20K 231 aircraft from the late 70's. This plane can do 180 Kts at altitude on 12.5 GPH with over 1000 Lb useful load.  The Encore is the factory rebuild of the very popular M20K 252. So popular and high performance that it out-sold and out-performed the other new bigger engined Mooneys that were available new but cost a lot less. So Mooney stopped production to force new Mooney buyers into Bravos and Ovations etc in the late 90's
