Detailed Description
During WWII, Messerschmitt contracted with Nord to produce the Me-108. In 1945 when the German engines ran out, Nord substituted a Renault engine and renamed the aircraft Nord 1001 and Nord 1002. Have civilian logbooks 1959 through 1990 which state previous owner was French Air Force. Data plate says "Nord 1001 6-45". Another data plate states "SNCAN Nord 1002 no. 101 Reparation". One fuel tank data plate states "Bf108". German and French instruments. Aircraft is in nice shape for having been in the 2010 Chino/Corona Airport Flood. Remediation must have been prompt.
