Spectacular 1967 Piper Cherokee 140/160, N7430R, using 160 Hp STC holder AMRD. Prop has been custom tuned via AMRD STC for optimized cruise performance with the 160 hp engine. With K2U wheel pant fairings, wing root fairing, and gap seals, this Cherokee with cruise half way into the yellow at 75% power while sipping 7.8 GPH, this plane is faster than a Cherokee 180 at a substantially lower cost. The master mechanic installation of gap seals combined with the STC engine mean that this airplane is the safest, fastest, and most economical Cherokee 140/160 on the market. The flight controls and Piper autopilot has been rigged and tuned by U.S. Naval Test Pilot School graduates using Navy flight test procedures developed for the A-6. The result is a perfectly rigged aircraft and tuned autopilot that makes an outstanding IFR platform. “ Corrosion-X” wing treatment results in a corrosion free airframe, and no damage history. The exterior is a 9+, Interior is a 7. Complete with current Annual, current IFR certification, the rare extended hat rack, great interior plastic, shoulder harnesses, never a training aircraft, and hangered since new, you won't find a better Cherokee on the market.
