A visual inspection of the aircraft shows no obvious signs of any damage or repairs. The aircraft was originally sold in the US, and then exported to Canada around 1979. It was moved back to the US in 1992 where it was flown under Canadian registration until it was imported back to US registration in 2004. The logbooks are original, complete and legible. In 1992 there was a landing incident that resulted in a prop strike and damage to the left wingtip. The engine was disassembled. inspected and reassembled by Piedmont Aviation Services in Winston-Salem, NC. The prop blades were replaced and balanced and a new wingtip was installed. All repairs were professionally completed and fully documented. There is no other known airframe damage history.
Message From the Owner
I have owned this aircraft since 1988 and it has been a very reliable cross-country airplane. It has a great load capacity, easy to fly and reasonable speed. Unlike turbo models, this plane is easy to hot start.
This Piper Cherokee 235 is a great airplane! It has extremely low airframe hours and comes with a complete set of original logs. The engine has higher time since major overhaul, but it is running strong. The plane is IFR equipped with a Garmin GMA340 audio panel and a GNS530 GPS/Nav/Com. If you are looking for a long range aircraft with a great useful load without spending a lot of cash, this is your chance. At this price, it will not be available for very long, so be sure to contact us right away!
