Detailed Description

2881 TT 917 SMOH. Well maintained. Hangared. Nice in & out. Owned 25 yrs.

If you've had enough of underpowered pretend 4 seaters, a Cherokee 235 might be what you need. 1300 lb payload means you can carry four 200 lb folks plus 84 gal of gas (7 hrs range). Or carry 50 gal (4 hrs) of gas and those 4 people plus 200 lb of baggage.

Avionics / Equipment

See panel photo. Everything works.

Panel mounted PS Engineering PS1000ii 4 place intercom. Dual PTT

Airframe

All AD's current. No corrosion!

Main wing tanks removed and resealed

Electric pitch trim on yoke

Engines / Mods / Prop

Recent prop governor overhaul, stainless exhaust, and battery.

Reiff engine preheat system installed. No cold starts, EVER.

All compressions mid to high 70's

84 gallons gives 7 hour range at 150 mph

It has the 80 octane engine so is STC'd for car gas (save a buck or two a gallon). Note the newer Dakota model must burn 100LL avgas, which has an uncertain future.

150 mph at 11-12 gph, 65%. If you're just out for a ride and don't need to go fast, throttle back to Cherokee 140 or 180 speed and GPH.

Interior / Exterior

Always hangared. Nice shape in & out. IMRON paint is still glossy.

Remarks
