1973 PIPER CHEROKEE 6/260, Owner purchased this aircraft with the purpose of taking it to Panama to assist with the development of a boutique hotel in a small Pacific island. I wanted a strong solid and reliable platform that could withstand the nature of operating in remote places. Therefore I rebuilt the whole airplane entirely from top to bottom using one of the most reputable and experienced maintenance shop in South FL.
Installed new Millenium cylinders, new Mags, spark plugs and harness, overhauled carburetor, new starter, new exhaust, engine mounts, oil cooler, overhauled prop governor, new prop, new engine driven fuel pump, JPI EDM 730 engine analyzer with fuel flow. Repaired fuel tanks, fuel lines and fuel selector valve, replaced brake disc, rebuilt landing gear, new paint and interior, all instruments have been overhauled. Garmin 430GPS, ADSB in- out and IFR approved.
Everything in this machine is new.
Due to the pandemic aftermath our project development has delayed to the point where the aircraft has only been used for my personal pleasure and not for its original purpose which makes very little sense and the reason I'm selling. No corrosion and owned by major airline pilot with extreme attention to detail and preventive maintenance.
