This has been our family plane ~19 years with 1633 lbs useful load. This is the ultimate travel machine that carries everything and everybody everywhere with room to spare and in speed & style! Feels great to fly and solid in crosswind landings and bumpy air. Flying solo, it leaps from the ground and lands nice and gentle, slowly.

No oil leaks, clean sounding, great compressions! New: Exhaust manifolds (2), Fuel Pump, #2 Cylinder, strut seals, Aircraft Battery, ELT Battery, & Garmin GDL 88. Performed all regular maintenance at October '22 Annual Inspection: Oil change, spark plugs inspected, brake fluid replace and bleed, Tanks removed & inspected and cleaned.

Mostly used in Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina. November Waxed.
Lots of preventative maintenance performed, see below...

I am selling only because I am buying a 2 seat Lancair since my kids are all grown up and gone and I don't need a 6 seater.
Much love for this Cherokee Six! What a solid, safe, & unique airplane with great weight capabilities!

    Avionics / Equipment

The Center Stack is featuring the Garmin GTN 650 touchscreen IFR NAV/COM radio with new Garmin GPS map for North America and Carribean. Populates radio frequencies at the touch of the screen, loads flight plans, GDL88 remotely mounted providing ADSB OUT by mandate but also ADSB IN to populate your GPS with other aircraft and weather. Also, GTN 650 and GDL88 are working with a Garmin GTX327 Transponder. An excellent backup IFR NAV/COM radio is mounted below the GTN 650, a Garmin SL30. Both NAV/COM Radios have their own Garmin HSI's directly next to the left of them for ease of eye travel and correllation. The entire Panel was redone to have a standard "Six-Pack" reconfigured in front of the pilot and space for the HSIs. There is also a large extra space, where I mount an iPad with Foreflight which can connect to Garmin wifi and display live ADSB information overlays.

    Engines / Mods / Prop

Lycoming, 260 HP, running solid strong and smooth. With a Hartzel 2 bade constant speed prop. The combination is powerful and lighter than the 300, so it carries more weight and travels 5 knots less with a better range by far and better fuel consumption rate.

    Interior / Exterior

9/10 Club seating Like New condition. 6 place intercoms for comfort and communications to the pilot/copilot.
