    Detailed Description

Meet N400HR, a sleek and beautiful 1964 Piper PA-24-400 Comanche built for speed. With its mighty Lycoming fuel-injected, normally aspirated, 400 HP engine, and its useful speed mods which include a one-piece windshield conversion, gap seals on the rudder, ailerons, and flaps, wing root seals, speed hub caps, and its high-performance wingtips and landing gear doors, you can expect performance of up to 230 MPH at 7,500 feet MSL on 22 GPH. This is a true "hot rod" as the tail number implies, and true four-seater airplane, which is faster than a Cirrus SR-22/SR-20 or a Mooney Ovation, but for much less money. This aircraft gives you over 1,200 pounds of useful load and has been lovingly and intensively cared for over the years by its doting owner. It also just completed fresh annual in March of 2023. The aircraft is located at North Las Vegas (KVGT), Nevada and is available for in person or virtual viewing. Interested in N400HR?
