Detailed Description

War Bird 1943 L-4B Cub J-3C-65),  42 hours since complete airframe restoration and Major Engine overhaul.  Twelve year restoration project by an A&P.  Just the way the Army took possession of it in 1943.  Complete historical records to include military and civilian.  All AD's complied with.  Annual 5 July.  Aircraft has the following options:  New Univair metal spar and rib wings, Univair sealed struts, slick mags, new Marvel Schebler Carb, Poly Fiber covering, Tires Goodyear 8:00X4 with Grove STC disc brakes and Dakota Cub STC Master Cylinders, STC Lang D-501A full swivel tail wheel, Sensenich wood prop, WWII Army Airforce Magneto Switch, WWII BC659 Jeep Radio with replica parachute whip antenna, WWII map case and checklist.  White face original type gauges with recording Tac, Nose Art (Short Hop), DRE-28 ICS, fixed internal fuselage antenna.  Also included with aircraft is Icom portable radio, WWII leather flight helmet Cub Club info binders.  New never used J-3 front seat 10 gallon ferry tank ($1600 value).  Actual cost to restore aircraft $75,038 (receipts as prof).
