Single Engine Piston Piper Pacer Aircraft Information
The single engine piston PA-20 Pacer is a four-seat, strut braced, high-wing light aircraft built by Piper Aircraft in the post-World War II period. The capacity of the Pacer is one crew member and three passengers. Empty weight is 1100 lb (503 kg) and loaded weight is 2000 lb (907 kg).
The PA-20 and PA-20S were powered by a 125 hp Lycoming O-290-D engine. The PA-20 115 and PA-20S 115 were powered by a 115 hp Lycoming O-235-C1 engine. The PA-20 135 and PA-20S 135 were powered by a 135 hp Lycoming O-290-D2 engine. Cruise speed is 113 knots (135 mph, 216 km/h), stall speed is 42 knots (48 mph, 78 km/h), and maximum speed is 123 knots (142 mph, 227 km/h).
