Piper Cherokee PA32 Series Aircraft Information
Produced by Piper Aircraft, the Piper PA-32R is a six-seat, high-performance, single engine, all-metal fixed-wing aircraft. The PA-32R design began as the Piper Lance, a retractable gear version of the Piper Cherokee Six. However, later models are known as Saratogas. The Saratoga as a tapered wing replacing the "Hershey bar" wing on the Lance. The capacity of the PA-32R is one crew member and five passengers. The empty weight is 2011 lb and the gross weight is 3600 lb. The cruise speed is 160 mph and the maximum speed is 190 mph.
