2009 QUESTAIR VENTURE  C-GOER (sn 19 ex N62PW) 
IFR,  240 kts @ 13 GPH,  1000+ NM.  Stall 61 kts.  ASKING $194 500 us 
BY THE MILE COST LESS COMPARE TO A CESSNA 150, HANGAR COST 50% LESS 
COMPARE TO A CESSNA 172. FAST TO CLEAN ! 
Kit number 19 bought in 1989 by Phil Wilson. N62PW (still painted under C-GOER sticker). 
Helped to build by Jim Cook. First flight in 2009 by Jim Cook. 
2014. Inspected by Larry Woods then imported in Canada by André Durocher. 
Airframe :  559 h TTSN. All metal. Not a plastic plane. 3 colors metallic paint. 46 inches wide cabin. 
Engine:  Continental IO-550-G, 280 HP at 2500 RPM continuous. 
Engine : since new=1461 h in 1990. SMOH = 225 h July 2017. Since 6 new cylinders and pistons  
July 2021= 90 h. Starter July 2017. Alternator: August 2021. 2 new mags January 2019. 
Propeller McCauley 2 blades. 225 h SPOH by Hope in July 2017. Balanced in 2024. 
IFR panel by Jim Cook completely rewired March 2025. Now the panel can be removed in less then 1 
hour like the original design. 2 Chelton (6 pack, moving map with HITS and engine gauges) coupled to 
TruTrak Vizion 385 autopilot WITH EMERGENCY STRAIGHT AND LEVEL BUTTON. FreeFlight 
1201 WAAS GPS. uAvionix SkyBeacon ADS-B out and SkySensor ADS-B in. 
Garmin SL30 (ILS-VOR-DME), SL40, Garmin 327 txpdr, PMA 8000B audio panel. ELT 406 Kannad 
Integra with switch  on the panel.  Master Avionic switch. Wired for Garmin 396 or 496. Plenty of space to 
add avionics on the copilot side. 
Back up : CastleBerry ELECTRIC ATTITUDE INDICATOR with inclinometer, airspeed and altimeter. 
GRT (EDM) EIS engine monitor instruments system back up. 
64 gallons (62 usable). No sump tank. Andair 3 positions (left-right-off) fuel selector with gascolator and 
return fuel to its tank. Welldone fuel boost pump. 
Gross weight: 2000 lbs (2200 lbs with reduced G's). Empty: 1307 lbs. 
Larry Woods mods: main landing gear oleos, nose wheel, main landing gear uplock magnet, battery on 
the right side, stronger nose wheel mouse trap, easier to maintain and stronger nose wheel micro switch 
adjustment. 
Separated electric landing gears and flaps. 3 positions flaps switch (full up, full down and stop) . 170 kts 
gears and flaps down. 
Re-inforced carbon fiber canopy frame. Canopy 7 points latches. The canopy was cracked at the hinges 
(weak point) in 2017 and 2022 and was repaired. June 2025: installed new Grove brakes (better compare to 
Matco) system and 2 new main tires. Rudder trim travel limiter. Anchored MH O2 AL-415 botttle 25. 
Landing light: ON, OFF and FLASHING. Trims lights system by Jim Cook. Pitot heat. Canopy and pitot 
covers. Metal chocks. Koger SunShade. ALL DRAWINGS ARE DWG AND SEARCHABLE. 
Window in baggage compartment floor to check the main gear position. 
Re-inforced tail tiedown. Ventral fin. 
Pilot and co-pilot 5 points harnesses. Full dual controls. 50+ lbs (2 carry-on bags + stuffs) baggage and net. 
Fire extinguisher. Guardian CO detector. 2 USB plugs. 
Annual inspection due November 1st, 2026. All new engine hoses Feb. 2026. No damage history. Always 
hangared. All books since new. Pictures during the construction. Reason for sale: Mission changed.
