    Great example of experimental flexibility, this RV6 started out as 6A and was converted to a taildragger at 44 hours TT.

Changed landing gear from tricycle to tail wheel design. Replaced canopy. Installed new motor mounts. Rebuilt artificial horizon, directional gyro & stdby compass.
    - Sept 2007: Installed rebuilt IO-320-E2D engine 
    Excellent rebuild returned to service with no further incident.
