American Champion Aircraft Corp. manufactures two- seat general aviation aircraft. The company was founded in 1988 after acquiring the Bellanca aircraft the Champion, Citabria, the Scout, and the Decathlon. The American Champion models are all single-engine piston aircraft. The American Champion 7GCAA was introduced to the market in 1965. It is the agricultural version of the 7GC with a higher powered Lycoming O-320-A2B engine. The cruise speed is 117 kts and the stall speed is 44 kts. The empty weight is 1,200 lbs and the gross weight is 1,650 lbs.
