WELCOME to the premier aircraft spinner cone repair shop in the Midwest. With over 22 years in business, we have the tools and the knowledge to fix even your toughest jobs.^M ^M All aircraft fly on confidence; it is as important as the fuel that powers the engine. Pilots must be confident in their flying abilities and confident that their aircraft will perform well. Confidence in the aircraft comes from proper maintenance. Such maintenance comes from the vital task of locating and repairing cracks or breaks that have occurred in anything from a seat frame to a nose strut to a fairing panel. Often these repairs require the services of a skilled welder able to repair components to FAA standards, standards shared by Kim Weckerly, president of K&K Precision Welding.^M ^M Mr. Weckerly's expertise as a welder has been developed over the past 40 years, beginning with active duty in the U.S. Air Force. In addition to holding a Level II certification in heliarc welding since 1983, Mr. Weckerly has held an FAA certified aircraft welding repair station for over twenty years, enabling him to weld on most aircraft parts and components.
